Meet Tamara, the Clinical Director at The Arbor
Tamara Segura serves as Clinical Director at The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare, where she provides clinical leadership and helps guide treatment programming, clinical practices, and a collaborative approach to care.
Tamara earned her Master of Arts in Integrated Recovery for Co-Occurring Disorders from the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School in 2021. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Tamara joined The Arbor in May 2021 as a clinical intern while completing her graduate studies. Since then, she has served in multiple clinical roles, gaining more than five years of experience working with individuals affected by substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Her approach is grounded in integrated care and the belief that lasting recovery requires addressing the whole person. As Clinical Director, Tamara is passionate about helping clients develop insight, strengthen recovery skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change while supporting The Arbor’s clinical team in providing individualized, evidence-based care.
