Friends of The Arbor,

The safety of our clients, families and staff is of the highest priority at The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare. Due to concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are continuing to monitor the situation and remain current with the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, as well as local authorities such as Williamson County, Travis County, and city governance regarding COVID-19.

Please be assured that the Arbor has implemented procedures designed to protect the health of The Arbor clients.

These measures include:

  • The Arbor has implemented symptom check procedures, assessing the health of all staff, visitors, and contractors prior to entering The Arbor and Arbor IOP locations.
  • The Arbor will not allow any persons into our facilities who exhibit symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Hand sanitizer is available to all clients, staff, and visitors.
  • Residential clients are not attending off-site meetings.
  • IOP clients will have the option to attend via telehealth.
  • Alumni meetings and facility tours have been temporarily suspended.
  • Non-essential staff have been directed to work from home.
  • Staff and clients are being educated on the use of universal precautions for disease prevention.

Preserving health is paramount during the spread of COVID-19. We believe these measures are appropriate to ensure The Arbor can continue to provide care for all clients at the appropriate level while reducing the transmission of disease. We encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Very Sincerely,
Brian Samford, PhD, LMFT, LCDC
Elizabeth Bickel-Rolfe, Clinical Director
Sherrie Scott, RN, Director of Nursing
